About Drums Engine

Drums Engine brings drum composition, notation, and practice together in a free space that runs directly in the browser.

A tool for rhythmic ideas

Drums Engine was made to shorten the distance between imagining a groove and being able to hear it, edit it, and read it. The editor programs kit pieces on a grid while the integrated score helps review the result.

There is no app to install: projects open in a modern browser and can be kept as a file to continue later.

Compose and practice in one place

Alongside the editor, the advanced metronome works with tempos, subdivisions, silent bars for internal-time training, and multi-phase routines. Both tools support a quick idea as well as a focused practice session.

Kit settings, projects, and practice statistics are stored in the user’s browser to keep the workflow quick and private.

Who it is for

It can help drummers writing grooves, students connecting sound and notation, teachers preparing exercises, and composers communicating a rhythmic foundation.

The tool continues to improve through user feedback. Send a suggestion from the contact page.
